Terms of Service

These are the terms for playing our game. The game is made by EVAI Inc. ("EVAI", "we", "us"). By selecting "I agree" or by playing, you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't play.

1. Where your data goes

• Your voice stays on your computer. When you talk, your speech is turned into text right on your machine. The audio is never sent anywhere.
• The characters' voices are made on your computer too.
• The text you type or say is sent to our servers. We pass it to AI companies (Anthropic, Google, OpenAI and OpenRouter) so the characters can answer you.
• An image you add to a chat is sent to the AI only if you choose to add it.
• If you make a character in the Character Creator, what you give it (the description, pictures and voice sample) goes to our servers and to the AI services that build the character.
• We keep your conversations so you can pick up where you left off. We also collect basic usage stats and crash reports so we can fix bugs and improve the game.

2. AI characters

The characters, their lines, voices and images are made by AI. AI can be wrong, weird, repetitive or offensive, and it doesn't speak for EVAI. It's fiction. Don't take its advice on anything that matters (health, legal, money or personal problems), and remember the characters aren't real people.

3. Playing, streaming and sharing

Stream it, record it, post clips. That's all welcome. Don't resell or redistribute the game, hack or modify it, or use cheats, bots or exploits.

4. What you make

Characters you make in the Character Creator belong to EVAI once you create them, as you agree to when you make one. For anything else you send us, like messages and feedback, you allow us to use it to run and improve the game. Only upload things you have the right to share.

5. Rules

Don't use the game to make, share or ask for:

• anything sexual involving minors, or anyone who looks under 18;
• sexual, hurtful or false content about real people, or pretending to be someone;
• harassment, threats, hate or calls for violence;
• content that promotes self-harm, terrorism or other serious crimes;
• things that break someone else's copyright or privacy;
• malware, spam or other people's personal information.

Don't attack our servers, get around limits or safety systems, or try to get into other people's accounts or data.

6. If you break the rules

We may remove content and limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules or put other players at risk. You can report content or players to us. We also close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe other people's copyright. To report copyright infringement, see evai.games/dmca. EVAI Inc.'s DMCA registration number is DMCA-1083883.

7. Purchases

Purchases go through Steam (or whichever store you got the game from), under its terms and refund policy. In-game balances and items aren't worth real money.

8. Changes

The game is in active development. Features may come, change or go, and we may stop running the game. If we change these terms in a big way, we'll ask you to accept them again in the game.

9. The legal part

The game is provided as it is. We can't promise it will always work or be bug-free. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses from playing it, and our total responsibility is limited to what you paid for the game in the last 12 months. None of this takes away consumer rights you have by law.
